June 28th : 4 more centuries this week bringing the seasons total to 25. Nick Elkins (St. Andrews 1st's) leads the way with 115, Alan Reeves (West Chiltington 1st's) and Mark Carter (East Preston 1st's) both score 109 and Andy Mackay (Scaynes Hill 2nd's) with 105*. 5 bowlers pick up 5 wkts and the season's highest aggregate match total of 499 occurs at East Preston in their 2nd XI game against Southwater. Only 3 matches are drawn and all of them come in Div. 1 1st XI. The Sunday Cup semi-final line up is completed with Broadwater to take on St. Andrews and Horsham Trinity to play Eastergate with the Final to be played at Preston Nomads ground on 17th August.

June 21st : Beware the Brouwer! Johann, the record aggregate run scorer of 2005 has been a bit quiet lately with the bat but he was back with a bang on Saturday and how, with a huge score of 178 for Southwater 1st's. It was the third highest ever score in the SICL and the highest for Div. 2. Graham Waller (Broadwater 1st's) became the third player this season to hit 2 centuries with 106 in the top of the table clash win against Clymping giving Broadwater a lead of 27 pts at the top, he scored 50 of his side's first 58 runs coming off only 30 balls! Andy Cocker (Scaynes Hill 2nd's) led the way for the bowlers with 7-31, Nigel Smith (Horsham Trinity 1st's) also taking 7 wkts with 7-40 including a hat-trick and Mitesh for Ram 2nd's takes 6-28.

June 14th : Batsmen go crazy!! Nick Wright (Scaynes Hill 1st's) with 155 records the 3rd highest Div. 2 score in SICL history, Adam Davis (Selsey 1st's) 117, records the highest 1st Div score this season, Waqas Hussain (Crawley Eagles 2nd's) smashes 106* including 98 in boundaries!! George Parker (Scaynes Hill 1st's) 104* who with Nick Wright put on 275 for the 1st wkt and Chris Cook (Eastergate 1st's) with 103 are this weeks century and headline makers. However 3 bowlers, Rashid (Crawley Eagles 1st's), Ben Johnson (Broadbridge Heath 2nd's) and James Peake (Storrington 1st's) all take 7 wkts. Ram & Horsham Trinity in Div 1 1st XI finish with the scores level on 229 for a high scoring draw.
